For the Naval Engineering / Applications department, we are looking for a talented
AGILE SCRUM MASTER
with a background in Software or Test engineering, a passion for technology and the ambition to make a career in a high-tech environment.
ABOUT THE JOB The development of our products takes place in self-directed Scaled Agile / Scrum teams. In addition to the development of software products, our teams are fully responsible for a multitude of aspects such as requirements analysis, design, architecture, testing, integration and validation and regular product demonstrations.
As ScrumMaster you facilitate your Scrum team according to the Agile principles and the Scrum process. Together with the team and the Product Owner you get everything out of the closet to get results on time, with the right quality and within budget. You have the ability to work in a team as a facilitator, proactively and with the necessary flexibility to respond to changing circumstances.
ABOUT YOU Do you have a passion for technology and would you like to work on high-tech Naval Command & Control and state-of-the-art radar systems? Then you are the person we are looking for. You describe yourself as driven, result-oriented and initiative-rich. In addition, you are strongly focused on achieving results based on effective collaboration.
As an Agile ScrumMaster you have experience with: • managing, facilitating, motivating and coaching Agile / Scrum team (s), whereby you and the team meet the program requirements (quality, budget and longer-term planning); • Agile principles and you know how to spread these to others, you know the added value of iterative development and delivery; • initiating changes and supervising process improvements; • creating a good working relationship between various stakeholders such as Scrum Team, Product Owner or Project / Product Manager; • you are strong in your communication and in giving and receiving feedback;
A ScrumMaster contributes to the design, development and testing of complex software solutions. A background in Test Engineering or Software Engineering is therefore required. Knowledge and experience with the following tools or techniques are important: Linux, Java, Swing, C / C ++, networking, Unit Testing, Test Automation, Jenkins, Nexus, Maven / Gradle, GIT / SVN and Continuous Integration & Delivery. A good command of the Dutch and English language in speech and writing is necessary for a good job performance.
