About us
Within the Engineering cluster the Applications department is responsible for the development of combat
and information management systems for navy ships, integration with sensor and weapon systems as
well as the development of sensor processing applications. These complex systems contain advanced
solutions for information processing, information management and user interaction with both sensorand
weapon systems. Our product offers essential support for missions varying from anti-piracy to ballistic
missile defense.

Network Engineer

About the job
As a Network engineer you will design, develop and test the network capabilities for the combat
management systems, the radar systems and the optical sensor systems. The platform team is
responsible for the entire development chain - requirements analysis, development, testing, validation and
demonstrating the current status of the product.
Our customer highly values ​​the application of modern technologies and methodologies.

About you
Do you have a passion for technology, do you enjoy constantly developing your skills and are you
interested in working on highly complex network environments? Then you are the person we are looking
for. You are a talented engineer who enjoys specifying, developing and testing IT infrastructure components.
The infrastructure is part of the sensor and information management systems aboard navy ships. Relevant
products and technologies include Cisco, Linux & Python. An expert level understanding of networking
equipment by several vendors is important for successfully fulfilling the role. Knowledge of configuration
management tooling (e.g. Ansible) and additional programming languages ​​(e.g. C, C ++) is preferred.
You hold a bachelor or master degree in computer science, IT service management, system & network
engineering or comparable. Your colleagues are recognized experts in the field and will help you get up to
speed and we will gladly invest in your development.
An important requirement for fulfilling this role is flexibility and the ability to communicate efficiently in English
to all types (technical, management) or stakeholders.
