As part of the Naval Engineering cluster, the Applications department develops a wide range of
software solutions, such as for our radar and optical sensors. This is real-time software for our radar
processing systems within the sensor domain.
For this domain, we are looking for a talented
Processing Software Integrator
ABOUT THE JOB
Software is becoming an increasingly important part of our total engineering effort, delivering
significant additional functionality to our radar systems. We are committed to the application of hightech
engineering techniques and methods, to help realise our solutions better and faster. For software
development, we use the Large Scale Scrum method, which involves various teams developing
software which is then integrated into a single product. The work is performed based on a fixed
As an integrator, you will be a member of one of our scrum teams and will focus mainly on integrating
and testing software subproducts.
You will be given ample opportunity to develop your skills into various directions. Depending on your
passion and ambitions, you can follow several growth paths, for example to become a software
architect or test engineer. Collaborating on field exercises in order to see our solutions live and in
action is also possible.
Are you passionate about technology and would you like to work on radar processing systems and
complex algorithms? If so, you may be the person we are looking for.
You should have completed your education at a professional or university level in a technical area,
preferably (technical) information science or electrical engineering. We assume you have a passion for
software, and knowledge of and experience with the following tools and technics would be a plus: C,
C++, Linux, Jenkins, Nexus, Maven and Continuous Integration.
As a person, you are creative, open and flexible and able to operate as a team player. You should
have a number of years of experience in software engineering or software integration in a real-time
environment. In addition, you should be result-oriented, pro-active and able to communicate clearly.
An excellent command of the Dutch and English languages, both spoken and written, is essential in
order to perform well in this role.
